About our logo (top right)
Our logo design is based on a an angel pendant that I bought at our church,
Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, during the Humble Heart Women's Bazaar
in November. The angel pendant was designed by Lisa McMillan of Prescence
Jewelry of Raleigh, NC. We embellished her original idea with a heart skirt for
the angel and the three stones at the bottom of the skirt represent the trinity
with God in the center, Jesus on the right, and the Holy Spirit on the left.
Are they dots or spots or circles?
The dots around the angel represent the angels that are around us everyday.
The dots are also spots that represent the spotty images often seen in
photographs and are interpreted as angels. The spots are also circles that
represent continuity and the continuous circle of life and how we must keep
ourselves moving along, depending on each other along the way.

The heart border represents our mission statement to spread the love of Christ
through the works of our organization. The hearts are also a continuation of the
heart found in our logo above.
